It is not the kind that makes me giddy or dream of fairy tale weddings. Sometimes I wished it was, but most times I am alright to have this feeling around, in me like a familiar and comforting keepsake. No matter how long the silence, how abrupt the intermittent emails or text messages, I remain fond of him still. He is still the one I’d like to be with someday. Or someone like him. I think I’ve finally found someone with the right mix of qualities for a life partner. Whether it becomes real, I remain uncertain. And I am OK with that too.
