The perfect relationship is one that is built over the period of many years. It takes time, effort, tears and screaming matches to make it happen. Actively choosing someone as your soulmate, and doing everything in your power to make it happen is far more rewarding then hoping they will just fall in your lap. It just takes effort, thats all.

I never thought of it that way. Now that I reflect, I realize that is what my husband and I have done. Cool.
So true. I have been married 8 years, with my husband 16 years! We have grown up together and gone through so much, now we are really enjoying things, the small things that could be argued about are just ignored or discussed breifly and forgotten! It’s wonderful. It is really wonderful. It takes work! That is so true! But it’s so worth it!
Tears and smiles…that is what makes it work. Then you start getting more and more smiles and fewer tears or the tears are mostly from joy.
