What I want to do will require a lot of time…and some money. Here’s the idea I have stuck in my head:
Paint a shade of green…maybe a bit darker / bolder than “mint green”, with white doors and trim. Paint furnature black and white. Black drapes….and of course good organization of my stuff. My office serves as a craft room as well. I need places for: fabrics and embellishments, reconstruction materials, office supplies, shipping supplies, gift wrap/tissue paper/boxes, my book collection, assortment of knick knacks and keepsakes…and various other stuff not as easily categorized. The major issue I’m facing is the drapes. The absolute lowest price is $80…which at this point in time I can’t afford. The drapes I have to work with would clash horribly….and I need this room to look exactly as I’m picturing because Bill is very very VERY reluctant to let me paint it green. He says “ew” everytime I show him a paint color I’m considering.
The room I have in mind will be classy, and sophisticated, but still fun…and functional enough to allow me to get work done without distraction….and devoid of leopard print (which Bill should like, considering I have something leopard in every single other room in the house!)
