One cannot 'master' CSS, but one can learn to think in it.
So after futzing with XHTML and CSS and WordPress enough for far too many years, I’ve realized that I can’t ‘master’ it so much as ‘get familiar enough with it to be dangerous’ – unless I become a full time web developer, which I’m not interested in doing per se. I’m not abandoning the goal completely – as I redesign my Web site I like to stay current on what’s out there, what works, and why sites like CSS Zen Garden make me so damn happy, for some reason.
Anyway, I’m marking this – and the ‘make my mark in web dev’ goals as ‘complete’, because I’ve given up on them, but I’m ok with that. :)
