I have made so many things in the past. And I want to be a part of what I’m doing from start to finish. I however don’t have a dressform which would help me get moving quicker. I have almost my fist line completely finished and I’m starting on a lingerie line. If anyone has any advice or input.. please comment!

it would be something i would love to do. my only problem is that i am not the best artist. drawing is not one of my high points so when i design, it’s nothing impressive on paper, it’s more of an outline of my idea or concept.
Hi, I have had an idea of a clothing line in my head for many years, and I’ve now decided to follow through. But I have no idea really how to start. If you can meet with a photographer and get photos of your line, then post it around the internet you may find yourself with an immediate following. People that follow you have ways of making what you wish for come true.
Another great thing to do is partner with other new designers in holding a runway show. If you are in college or know people in college they can probably arrange to hold a show in the student center. You can even recruit models from the students by posting a notice saying you are seeking runway models for the show.
I recommended meeting a photographer to get photos so the clothing is represented as best possible. Use models of various sizes so your outfits aren’t all one size “me”.
