Teach my cat to fetch
This would be cool!

We have two cats, Cody and Frisco. Frisco is the most likely candidate (Cody is much too sensible).

A previous cat we had, Ben, used to fetch the plastic tops from inhalers. Just the right size to grab in a cat’s mouth.

I feel a project coming on :-)

How is the fetching going?

I had a cat that fetched. She also jumped off apartment balconies, so she now lives at my parents farm. Now she fetches snakes. She also goes on walks with us. It is a little unnerving to be walking along with my Mum and find the cat tagging along….very dog like.

Snakes?

Yikes!

The fetching is not going too well as yet, though there has been much chasing, and quite a bit of scurrying around at insane speeds knocking an inhaler top around loudly while sliding like cartoon cats on the hard floor directly outside the bedroom door at 5:00 AM, if you know what I mean.

I should have added

they are dead by the time she produces them to my Mom. Shes an odd little cat. I must admit, I am a dog person, primarily for the exact reason of the inhaler top being bashed about during the night!

training cats

I have a friend who trained her two cats to use the toilet in her bathroom. She never had to deal with cat trays or kitty litter after that! Amazing.
