Sleep past noon occasionally
Turn off my internal alarm clock

It doesn’t matter what time I go to sleep, I wake up at 6:30am.

Me too

You stand no chance! You will now be an old person getting up before 5!

JP Creighton rising to shine on a rainy cloudy May Sunday;waiting for coffee, here.

Is there some way or some one to let you do this on Sunday?

Or Saturday?

I’m the same way.

I didn’t sleep at all last night.

NaNoWriMo.

Didn’t make it. This time.

I Wish!

We only have our youngest child at home, and he’s 17 and doesn’t get up until noon on weekends! So, I don’t have any reason to get up at 6:30.. I just do. It doesn’t matter what time I go to bed. I usually go to bed at 11:30pm… and when 6:30 rolls around, I’m awake…

kmom2468 is knee deep in the hooah!

Go back to bed

M-F I am up by 2:30 a.m. to go to work… Saturday morning I get up at 2:30 a.m., have a cup of warm tea, maybe read a bit of a book – and then I’m able to snuggle back down under the covers and sleep a few more hours. Maybe something similar would work for you.

I’m the same way. Since I was 8 or 9 I’ve had to get up at 5 every morning to go to swimming training before school…I’ve gotten so used to it that even on Sundays I’ll wake up around 5:30.
It’s pretty much a natural thing for me now, but the thing is that even if I sleep past 7, when I wake up I feel really tired and terrible for the rest of the day.
It’s kind of like when you stay up past a certain point and you don’t feel tired any more, but in reverse.

geekymom has gotten 9 cheers on this entry.
