I don’t know that it’s “better” or “equal” but my petitioning experience for medical marijuana legalization in New York state I felt was comparable and fulfilling. It was a clear day and we were friendly. Some people were not, but others really felt compassion and motivated to consider the issue and the people it would help. What a fabulous experience.. I would recommend any engagement with those who don’t know, those who don’t care, and those who really do feel as strongly as you about an issue that stirs you up and brings you together for positive change.
