Over the past few days, I have been making an effort to stop eating when I’m full, rather than force every last piece of whatever I prepare down my gullet.
(okay, that makes it sound more extreme than it is. Still, when not hungry = don’t need to eat. It’s an important psychological boundary to cross.)
So that oatmeal cereal? I can have the other half when I get back home. No need to demand to myself that I eat the whole darn big breakfast. That sort of thing.
As a result, I have lost a couple of pounds, and am halfway to this goal (just got to keep it up).
Makes me think that my ‘natural equilibrium’ weight may actually be below what I currently am. :)
