I printed out a list of recommended items for an emergency preparedness kit, as well as a similar 72 hour checklist. I have started reading through the lists and checking off what I have already and am thinking about a way to organize all these things so they are basically in one accessible spot. I also called and requested a copy of FEMA’s “Are You Ready” manual from www.ready.gov/. I feel better knowing that Ava and I will be prepared in case of an emergency.
