Today I was at the Getty Center and although I’ve been there a bunch of times before, today was really special. Spring flowers were in bloom, the air was fairly clean and the smog was further away than it usually is, and the sky was bright blue with a few puffy clouds. I was ecstatic to have thought ahead and brought my camera, only to find when I first put it up to my face to take a picture that I had left the memory card in my computer! No card = no pictures.
I was disappointed, but think I spent more time enjoying the outdoors than I would have with a camera, so regardless I know it was a Getty day that I won’t soon forget.

What makes me so dumb for this one isn’t that I left the card in my computer’s drive, but that I only realized when I was on the 10 heading home that I had a second card in the other pocket of my camera bag. Do you believe that??? :)
