We just bought our first house. We have septic and well, but are on propane and electricity. We’re looking at composting and trying to grow more of our own food. Honestly, we’re a long way from actually being off the grid. But we’re a lot closer than we were before! It’d be great if even one of us could afford to quit working and focus on the lifestyle, but we’ll probably both still have to work for quite awhile yet.
