finishing this book. I grasp what he is getting at, for the most part..but I find I have to read somethings two and three times..because I am not SURE I get it. I pledge to get through the entire thing, to make a concerted effort to understand.

Great book ...
This is a great book. I listened to it on CD … yeah, it’s tough to get thru the entire thing.
And by all means, I didn’t blindly swallow every word.
But I will say that there are several important truthes to be found in the book which can change your way of looking at life.
Have you not bought into the basic premise of living in the moment and learning to control your mind and not allowing it to control you?

thanks Dave!
I understand about having been ruled by my mind and how I am not my mind, how I’ve not been living while I have been engaging in day-dreaming etc. (and wow! what I would do if only I could get many years of pining for another back..HOWEVER I understand that even this regret is lamentable because I am traveling back in time to remember and re-live the discontent! (This is pain-body or whatever..right?)
What I guess baffles me most is how to plan and set goals without "being" in the future. He addresses this..but I read it several times without thoroughly understanding.
