1. Silas Marner – I enjoyed it, but it took me awhile to get into it. Out of the 150 or so pages, it took me until well into the last half of the book to be really engrossed in what was going on.

Wow
That’s like a book every 3-4 days! I’d love to do that, but I read way too slowly.
Good Luck!
How are you coming along on your goal to whittle down your pile of unread books?
I’m an English major, so I do read a lot as it is, but I’ve found that I spend more time reading for class than for pleasure. I picked 100 because I know I have so much time that I waste and a wall covered by bookshelves filled with books I want to read. So I’m going to make sure I carry a book with me wherever I go, just like I did as a kid. There are way too many great classics I’ve not enjoyed (or dismissed, as the case may be) and far too many fun books to read … way more important than the cleaning I should be doing! ;)

I'm actually on #2 for the year
I enjoyed taking lit in college, I read such a cool array of classics then. Everybody else was bitching about all the reading, but I loved it. I mean, what did they think when they signed up for lit??
I need to remember to grab my book when headed out the door. So much time is wasted sitting around waiting…
Yes, reading trumps cleaning, any day!
