work for the Democratic party (read all 2 entries…)
I don't mean volunteer

Been there, done that, read the book, hated the movie. I mean WORK. I mean a paying, down and dirty, decision-making job where failure means I have nothing and no one to blame but the faulty political and campaign strategies of myself and those working with me.

Shannon just me...less extraordinary...more plain ole me.

my grandmother

if she could, would kiss you.

And I would kiss her right back

If something like this would mean that much to her.

Shannon just me...less extraordinary...more plain ole me.

god rest her soul

she was a devout Democrat.

She cursed me for voting for that guy from texas—god, not W. The crazy one. The trillionaire.

She should have

Shame on you for voting for the Hobbit. =D He was funny, but he was a wacko.

I find a major obstacle is that too many people of progressive mind are too picky. They need to be persuaded to support the Democratic Party NOT because it’s perfect, or even all that good, but because the Republicans are THAT BAD. Once power has been shifted to a better alternative, THEN we can worry about improving the Party. But right now they suffer because people don’t support them. It makes them run scared and act more like Republicans. I mean it, this country has gone as far in the direction of Fascism as we dare let it.
