All in all, $62000 closer to being debt-free. this year. That’s spectacular, but about half of that progress was inheriting some cash, so isn’t really to our credit.

I don’t care if we’ve still got debt, if we’ve got liquid assets to match – having $100K debt and $100K in the bank is equivalent to being debt-free to me. At the moment the debit is $550K, and the liquid assets around $100K.
