I found my book on learning to play the pennywhistle. Now I need to find my pennywhistle.

Eimear can't believe her dissertation is finally finished
Here's a useful hint
(if it’s the same thing as a tin whistle….. which I think it is)
DON’T put your pennywhistle in the back pocket of your jeans in a cool “I can whip this out and play a tune any time” kind of way, and then forget about it and sit down…....
The whistle, my jeans, and my poor posterior will never be the same again :-D
Made me laugh when I read your entry and remembered….. good luck with it!!
Hawk~ wishes everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year! CHEERS!
Care to share...
...the title of your book? As luck would have it, I found my pennywhistle a couple of days ago (amazing what turns up in the back of a closet, huh?).
Anyway…if you share your book, we can practice the same songs, and then if we ever meet at a 43T soiree or recital, we can astound our 43 friends with our harmonious prowess.

The Penny Whistle Book by Robin Williamson
I bought it many years ago at a folk fesitval. I chose this book because I love Robin Williamson’s music so much. He played with The Incredible String Band and has many solo music and poetry albums. If you could find it that would be wonderful! It is available on half.com . I still haven’t started working on this goal. I just need to start setting aside some time for this. The pennywhistle seems like the perfect intrument for me. It’s a traditional celtic instrument. It’s very inexpensive to buy. You don’t need to tune it.Best of all, it’s very small and can be tucked into a pocket or backpack.
