Starting out
The first thing I’ve done here is to join a speakers club – part of the association of speakers clubs (ASC) in the UK.
The idea is that you progress through levels of speaking excellence by passing 10 tests – or levels of speaches. There is more to achieve after that, but thats enough for now!
I did my second this week, and failed it. Thats a bit off putting I must say – to fail a test so early. Still, I will know where to concentrate on next time perhaps – and I’ve met lots of nice people, which is half the battle!
