That picture

was taken on a trip to Nepal, when I was about 8. We were walking around Kathmandu, and she decided to stop and get her picture taken in “traditional Nepalese peasant girl” garb.

Even though she isn’t really smiling in it, this is my favorite picture of her. Reminds me of a simpler time in my life, I guess.
