Chuchotement ...and now she's even older....
Technically, I am only on Day 4, but I completed the activity for Day 4 a while ago. Honestly, I hate the idea of putting sticky notes all over my shared house. They just add to the visual clutter and end up pissing me off. Maybe that’s the idea: that the notes annoy you to death until you do the work. The problem is that there is no option to take them down.
I am a tech-oriented person, so I modified my list of goals to reflect my actual needs, and put it on my smartphone. No paper clutter, instant editing, online backup…soooo much better than ugly sticky notes that just fall off the walls, anyway. In addition, once I ignore the rest of the emails, the daily reminder (aka, “flight plan”) is the only visual reminder I really need.
I was going to skip ahead to Day 5, but honestly, it can wait. I have had my fill of schmaltzy, force-fed affirmations for the day.
Also, I have done a ton of work, so far. In addition to the baby step of the day, I’ve been doing each Zone Mission. I was even motivated enough to put new sheets on my bed and lay out my clothing for tomorrow. My fridge looks fantastic, and I made a mini-dent in my laundry. Okay, so I REALLY don’t want to do the dishes or take care of the sink, but I’m going to do it anyway, so I can relax before bed.
