I have been a subscriber and user of last.fm/audioscrobbler since before the merger.

Can anybody recommend a good set of 5.1 surround speakers under 100 bucks that either come with extremely long cables or are wireless? I’m going to try to setup my room for surround sound since my new system will have surround (I’m stuck using a laptop right now) and I have never done this before.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I’m really not a Bose guy. I think of them how I think of Monster cable: Maybe better than the competition, but WAYYY overpriced.

Agreed. Most expensive head-set ear-phones I’ve ever seen. My first thought was ‘padded with silk, or something?’

Try Sennheiser for headphones

They may be a bit overpriced, but they are the best I’ve ever heard and comfortable to boot. The pair that is 99 bucks on Newegg is what you want to go for unless you have special needs that require something better.
