and during that time my Spanish language skills improved tremendously. I still have a lot to go, but I’m more confident all the time. In a couple weeks my girlfriend and I are going on vacation to Puerto Rico, and she doesn’t have any Spanish. She knows that mine’s not perfect, but we’re both confident I can get us around.
