I took a photojournalism class using this camera, and have really enjoyed playing around with it from time to time, but it wasn’t until my vacation to Washington DC this summer that i really came to appreciate my camera. It finally feels like i can use it to just point and shoot without ever needing a flash or easily switch to manual for some more artistic shots. This was a big investment, and i’m proud of my camera. I saw someone else with the same or a similar camera at one of the museums and realized that i felt like i was part of a special club. I don’t have one of those dinky digital cameras that takes grainy photos with a flash that’s always either too bright or too dim! I take beautiful photos as long as i take a little extra time, and i save money on film that i never can seem to get developed, like with my old drop-in film camera. So yeah, buying this camera was totally worth it, and i look forward to using it in the future.
