The Act of Letter writing is a much missed activity . It was a regualr feature in my life when I was forced to do my laundry at the laundro-mat. (I cant beleive I miss that). Now I have almost dropped this good habit for the convenience of doing my clothes at home and checking my email instead. I have tried to engage some would- be letter writers but have had no success as of yet. As much as I enjoy the challenge of writing letter’s, I miss receiving them even more. They are rare gems these days. Sometimes I will find a discarded letter at the “bins”. I always read these. Looking at the handwritten words, guessing at the implement used to write them and realizing these very thoughts do not always require and may not receive an answer, these are all things I find worth pondering.
