I have recently been diagnosed with emphysema. I thought it was only older people who got it!! (I’m 32 at the mo). I know I have to give up for the sake of my kids and my health. Am trying to cut down just now until doc prescribes me patches, inhalator etc. She wants me to have more tests before she does. It’s going to be difficult but I know it’s going to be worth it.
I am a 44 year old mother of 4 boys (16-25yr)and I am struggling with my smoking addition. My doctor just prescriber a medication to take away the urge for cigs. It is called Chantix. It cost me 114.00 for a month supply at Wal-Mart pharmacy. It works! Please don’t give up on quiting until you try this. I will pray for you!
