So this is my first attempt at a ‘blog’. I suppose this gives me a chance to aim the stress, worries and moments that i cant share with anyone.

Okay, so I got engaged at the end of May. I didnt really get a proposal, but more of a ‘shall we get married the?’ outside a drive thrw Macdonals. Not romantic, but memorable. My fiance isnt exactlty the most romantic guy in the world. I got my ring in the middle of June, and it was perect. We are getting married on the 16th July 2011. I think I may have made a mistake with the date as now I am organising I realize I have so much to pay for.

I am having 6 Bridesmaids… My three older ones are all blonde tall and stunning, whilst I am short, brunette and on the dumpy side, but hey, people will be looking at me… wont they??

My parents got divorced 4 years ago and are now with different partners. My mothers side hates my fathers side. All I keep getting is “I dont want to sit near your dad’ or ‘She wont be going on the hen do’. I keep getting told I should have a late wedding so they dont have to spend alot of time with each other. but you know what… Its my bloody wedding and you can all lunp it!.

Anyway. I have so far organised a venue and theme. Black and white. I am having a BBQ, Ice cream vender and a bouncy castle. I want a fun relaxed gorgeous day. I dont care if its no traditional, or not to everyone elses tast. I am not spending my money to please everyone else.

Well, we shall see how it goes and I will hopefully have an update asap.
