a shit ole day at work there is nothing quite like coming home and thinking about one’s bookshop.
So, everyone that’s had a bad day at work, I suggest you think about your number one goal. See! Instant mood improvement.
Magic.
I know it’s from the UK and everything, but if I can help you achieve this goal, even in the slightest way, don’t hesitate to give a ring!
It’s brilliant that you’re striving so hard… How’s the adminitrative understanding, btw?
but I am nowhere near getting past the dreaming stage, so em, cheering is still good!
The administrative understanding got momentarily superseded by a sudden rush of geekery and well, other, paid work. But I’m going to carry on.
First sentence said (and i translate roughly) “you can leave your job for two years to start up a business and they have to give you your job back if it doesn’t work out”.
WELL. Do I need to read the rest?! What an amazing country this is.
that book. I WANT it!
Hey, extra cheers for the added motivation for getting to the bank during it’s ridiculously wrong opening hours to order a new visa card. Or does amazon one-click still work when one is between visa cards?
hehe…i will have to try! I LOVE dummy books (no Harry Potter jokes please). Had no idea there was one on bookselling. SWOON!
everyone is so nice here. Thank you!
Really, the ‘visa card obtaining’ risks turning into another passport saga, so I think it good I feel I have reason to wish to go through the bureaucracy, although it is very kind of you to offer to help.
I shall print out a picture of the cover of the book and stick it somewhere strategic in my office and it may get me down to the bank to obtain said card. Did you know that French bank workers have one and a quarter hours for lunch? And when do they expect us to go and sign our visa card forms? Don’t you think they should open when everyone is at lunch at close when we’re at work?
