I’m in High School Geometry…! Somehow.. I don’t know my times tables or basic addition and subtraction. I have to count it out every time. I missed some essential lectures in 2nd grade and so I’m behind math-wise. Whenever I tell counselors or teachers this, they wonder how I got so far without it. I think I’ll just pick up certain bits of the times tables by using my mental math I have made for myself. It’s worked so far.
6 X 7 = 42.... what else?

I know that my way of remembering the “9”s is a little backwards but always works. Nine times any single digit number is just that number minus 1 plus whatever number would make it equal nine. So for example 9 times 7 equals 63 right? 6+3 equals 9. 7 minus 1 equals 6. 63. You can do this for any of the “9”s. 9 times 5 equals 45. 4+5 equals 9. 9 times 8 equals 72. 7+2 equals 9. etc.
