The Timer Method

I just read this article on how to start having lucid dreams the very first night you try this method, so I will be attempting to lucid dream using the “Timer Method” tonight. Here’s how it is supposed to work. First, set your alarm clock to wake you up 2 hours before you usually wake up, and go to sleep at your normal time. Then, when the alarm clock wakes you up, stay awake for 45-60 minutes and try to avoid lights. Then, go back to sleep with a timer in your hands. Set the timer using only your thumb to wake you up in 4 minutes, and try to fall asleep like usual. When it goes off, do not move or look at the timer. With your eyes still closed, set it to wake you up in 8 minutes, and again try to go to sleep. Then set it to 12, then 16, then 20, 20 again, then 6 minutes, 6, 6 again, and keep on doing 6 as long as you like. The 20 minute sessions are supposed to give you lucid dreams, and the final 6 minute sessions are supposed to give you OBEs.
Gonna try it tonight. I’ll tell you whether it works or not! :)

Btw, I got all of this information at Lucidology.com. I do not take credit for any of this information.
