have someone remake the great skirt

for many years

I had a fantastic shantung silk cargo skirt. perfect fit, easy care, looked dressy, and many pockets. great for travel, work, evenings out, picnics, everything. I wore a major hole in it, from pure overlovin’. would love to find some fabric and have a seamstress or tailor remake this great skirt.

to be able to have a great memory of a garment. If I was into sewing still I probably could do this for you – do you have the old skirt still? Pictures? Etsy has a method to ask people to help out – Its called Alchemy

idea to use Alchemy on etsy.

I’m a huge Etsy fan but haven’t dipped into that territory yet.

I also have not mastered the practice of posting photos on 43T. If and when I manage to accomplish the goal, I’ll absolutely have to post!

Shantung silk sounds dreamy!

And I, too, can’t ever seem to have enough pockets….

of the amazing properties of the skirt is that it has four gigantic pockets and still somehow looks slim.

The encouraging comments from you and loveinthecure are making this seem more possible! need to go fabric shopping next …
