get revenge (read all 2 entries…)

Persistence pays off! I woke up the other day and noticed that the crazy old hag had painted her doorknob and deadbolt lock RED! I got the chills just looking at it, it was just so weird! I went into the laundry room to pick up a few things, and straighten it up and I found that “someone” had written in permanent marker all over the dryers “N.F.G”. I immediately knew who had done it. Not a month earlier she had been complaining to me that the dryers were “No fucking good”. I had to introduce her to the concept of removing lint. The defacing of the apartment’s property pissed me off, and I finally had had enough with her and her bizarre child-like behavior. I called the police once more. I told the officer who responded the whole story and he was looking kind of puzzled. “What is her last name again?” I told him, and he shook his head. “I know who she is, her husband was staying at a hotel down the street. They got in a fight and she took off with his car, in fact we pulled her over right in front here. Definetly a little off.” I told him about the tape recorder and her threat, and he wanted to listen to it. He listened to it ONCE and said he could hear the threat. He talked to the dispatcher for awhile before coming back and telling me he was going to charge it as either criminal harassment or stalking. He said the D.A. would have to press the charges, but he could talk to her and warn her off for now. I wanted to kiss him I was so happy! Finally someone was on my side. I shut my door as he left to talk to her. About fifteen minutes later I heard her screaming in the driveway in front of my apartment. I opened my office door (the officer was gone), and I stared in disbelief as this woman started viciously attacking her husband (He doesn’t live with her, so I guess they are separated but not legally apparently). She whirled around and saw me standing there with a phone in my hand, and yelled, “Stupid bitch with your taperecorder, are you happy with yourself?” She turned around and cold clocked the guy HARD in the face. He was bleeding everywhere, and when I asked him if he needed help he said “yes”. I called 911 and after much drama (the husband did not want to press charges, but since they were still married the cop said it wasn’t his choice) she was arrested for domestic violence. The officer also told me that she had admitted to saying she was going to poison me, and that she had painted her doorknob with fingernail polish “so she could detect if the seal had been broken”. We had a good laugh. I don’t know when I have to go to court, but am thinking about getting a restraining order. Anyways, I guess karma takes its own revenge so beware!
