Clear night sky in the mountains

The most beautiful night sky I have seen was in the mountains on a clear night.

If you can’t make it to the northern lights soon maybe you can just get away from the city lights on a clear night!

May I ask where this picture was taken?I used to live in the mountains in Arizona and I was able to see the milkyway.It was nowhere near as amazing as your picture though.

This was taken at a place called Summit Lake, near Richwood, WV.

I bet the skies are nice in Arizona too!

Spruce Knob West Virginia is a great place for astrophotography as well. It is consider to have less light pollution than anywhere on the east coast.
