Since I already play flute, I can read sheet music, but I don’t know the fingerings of the clarinet. Also, flute is played much higher on the register, so I guess I am actually learning some new notes. Today I learned

A – left index finger on key above its regular place
Bb – same as A, with thumb on key above its regular place
G – no keys touched
F – thumb on its regular key
E – same as F, with left index finger on its regular key
D – same as E, with left middle finger on its regular key
C – same as D, with left ring finger on its regular key

Wow that’s actually a lot of notes! :-)
