I suggest either Thailand or Indonesia. The southern Thai gulf islands are well equiped and practiced and serving and filling your needs. The island of Koh Samui is one of the best, but there are many places to choose from. Indonesia also has some good destinations. Bali might be the most comfortable, but also the most expensive, though there are bargains to be had. Some of the outer islands, though lacking in much of the “frills”, are more layed back and relaxing. Bunaken, the Gilis, and the Bandas come to mind. Frankly, if you’ve never been to Indonesia, I’d go for Bali. Try Kuta Beach. Poppies Bungalows are fantastic, but up scale in amenities and price. Fat Yogi’s, next door is much cheaper and not bad at all. A short walk to famous Kuta Beach. Great restaurants too.
