I cast on a few weeks ago and finished the first sock for Steve. I decided to do them toe-up because I wasn’t sure whether I would have enough yarn to do them cuff-down. It was a good learning experience. I wasn’t thrilled with the fiddlyness of the toe and heel, but I am glad that I learned the techniques. Now, I don’t have to pass up pretty sock patterns just because they’re written from the toe up.
