I ran for Chapel Hill Town Council last fall. It was likely the most interesting and educational experience of my life, and though I lost, I think I contributed something positive to the political discourse of this town.

any advice about campaigning?

I’m running for school board this fall. I’d appreciate your advice. How did you approach it so that it could be a learning experience? What gave you the satisfaction of knowing that you contributed something positive to local discourse?
