This is a long term goal for me, as we can’t afford it yet and want to establish a permanent home first (we’re been married less than a year), but we’ve decided that we should do in miniature what we plan to do in magnitude. With that in mind, we’ve begun sponsoring a little girl in India through Compassion International. They have photolistings of all the children they have available for sponsorship on their website at http://www.compassion.com/sponsor_a_child/default.htm and it’s only thirty-eight dollars per month, which is much more doable for us at the moment.
