public speaking
I have got to overcome this . .

I have had EXTREME public speaking anxiety for a while. The first time it happened caught me totally off-guard. I was taking a class where I had to give a really non-important presentation – just standing at my seat – not even in front of the class. I felt only a little normaly nervousness before hand, but when the professor called on me to stand and give my presentation, I began shaking violently – all over. I was shaking sooo badly that the brochure I was holding to show the class was shaking so badly they couldn’t see it. It was truly the most humiliating thing I have ever been through. Since then I get the same reaction – even if just asked to state my name from my seat – anything in front of a group. I am, now, more afraid of the fear than I am of the speaking, (if that makes sense).

The same thing happens to me! I start sweating, shaking, and I even black out a little bit. Intense anxiety and it is so weird because I am fine in one-on-one conversations or small group discussions! Bizarre!
