Go hiking in Nepal (read all 3 entries…)
So exciting.... 3 years ago

Once I finish college I’m focusing on working as much as possible and saving money towards this goal. It is so important to me, I can’t even express it in words. It’s as if my soul just knows it’s something that I must do. I’ve already got several brochures and have been looking at all the different treks available. Tonight I was talking to my friend about this, and she’s also really serious about going, so it looks like I might have a partner to do it with! It feels wonderful to have this dream and be working towards it – it’s a goal I’m never going to let go of.

Sounds like someone’s planning on a “pilgrimage” type thing :) Reminds me of Coelho’s book when he described his journey on the Road to Santiago. Good luck Ange, it sounds worthwhile. Keep the dream alive!

Once in Napal I am wanting to focus on Everest, or the part I am able to scale.

It’s a great goal you have, but knowing Nepal as well as I do, I would suggest against it for now. The political situation is really bad… wait for it to calm down

It was great a decade ago, but things just aren’t right at the moment.

There are equally good alternate options

Yes, this is something I’ve been considering recently and I’ve been keeping an eye on it. It’s just so sad :( This goal is still on the horizon – and when the time is right I’m definately doing it :D
