dramathemusical is grateful for cranberry ginger ale season...
I’m talking movies that everyone and their mother has watched. Stuff that as a theater major, it is pretty embarrassing that I haven’t seen. I don’t know what it is about movies that I just don’t have the patience for. As for Blockbusters, I guess I’m kind of a snob.
Casablanca
Gone With the Wind
It’s a Wonderful Life
The Godfather
I’ve never seen an Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland (other than The Wizard of Oz) or Alfred Hitchcock movie. The musicals I’ve never seen… well it’s just appalling considering that theater is my career choice.
West Side Story
Oklahoma
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
I mean, this is a real crime. This has only recently become a goal of mine. I did watch a Marilyn Monroe movie (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), and a Cary Grant/Katherine Hepburn movie (Holiday). I really liked them both! I like old movies… there was actual ACTING! You barely see that nowadays (this is why I am a kill-joy).
Oh. I did see Ghost with Swayze and Demi Moore. My girlfriends insisted that it was a “classic”. Besides Whoopie Goldberg, I gave it two thumbs down. Especially for “classic” category. But, I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing, Pretty in Pink or Pretty Woman. I’m pretty sure that’s a crime against humanity too.
It’s good to have goals.
