This week I’m trying zazen (last week was ‘Vipassana week’), but I have mixed feelings about it. It’s easier to sit still for a longer period, and having my eyes open (staring at the ground) works better to stay alert and not doze off, but I do feel there’s more going on in my head than when I’m doing Vipassana. But I’ll keep doing it for this week and then I’ll see if I go back to Vipassana or not.
I guess just a week will even be too short to know what works best for me, I might have to try both meditationtechniques a bit longer in order to judge them better.
