I remember back in 1996 when I ever first heard of Guns N’ Roses… it was slash’s guitar that caught my attention… To every song I now hear even if I don’t know that Slash is playing in it… I know by the sound of his guitar… Slash has always been my favorite… growing up I always wanted to be in a rock band but it was just impossible in my situation… Rock n Roll music was my get away from everything… it’s all me… the style, the sound, the freak in it… that’s me!! Whatever mood i was in… wether i felt hopeless, down, alone, happy or ready to kicks someone’s ass i knew exactly who to turn to… and that was Guns N Roses and still I’m like that today!! Slash has always turned me on through his music and just to watch him play in every one of his video’s it was always epic to me. Rock N’ Roll was always a great interest to me… I just love everything about it… i feel more me… i know that’s me!! My mom can’t get enough of me with slash this and slash that, eversince the first day I played his music on my little cassette player… unfortunately she couldn’t support me in my dream to be a guitarist… I would always picture myself on a stage full of lights and a crowd full of people playing base guitar with slash..
Not to mention that my whole collection was thrown away when i moved away from home… just recently I ended up at the BMV bookstore on bloor street and asked the lady for Slash’s book and she wasn’t sure if they’d have any… I searched for a whole hour for his book and I found the only one on the shelf.. as if it was there waiting just for me… I started reading that book as soon as i exited the store all the way home and I swear Slash and I have soooooo much in common… I’m too an animal lover, I used to stunt on my bmx and nothing else interested me more than music not to mention my ups and downs… reading that book is just epic to me… I really think Slash and i should hang out one day… I’m sure he’s a great dude and I would defenitely love to see one opf his concerts live with upfront seats and backstage V.I.P passes… wow!! Any would do… By the way, my birthday is June 10 1986
If there’s a source that can do something to make something like this happen… There’s nothing more I could ask for… That would really be a dream come true…
