I can DO that. My friend has 2 horses in her backyard. When they leave town, my daughter takes care of the horses and I tag along on the night visits, to hold the lights and get the gross bugs out of the grain bowls because my daughter is too much of a baby about bugs.

So I get to help feed them and I get to pet them, and that will have to do for now.
