When I started working on digitizing my CD collection, the first thing I started with was my New Wave compilations. I didn’t get much farther than that, but I keep going back to those MP3 versions and listening to some amazing songs by groups like Bow Wow Wow, Belouis Some, Haircut One Hundred, EBNOZN, Ultravox, and the XTC to name a few.
OK, that list is bringing back the memories. I LOVED all of the above, including Belouis Some… I remember hearing that one of the EBNOZN guys died a few years ago, so sad. The new wave compilations are incredible, so many amazing one-hit-wonders.

music is so much fun!

I've (cough) never heard of these guys
(looks embarrassed) but I’m in desperate need of something new music-wise – will be checking this out and educating myself. Thanks for the post!
