this began when I was living in the UK and trying to get my photographic career off the ground. I was making good inroads when the opportunity to move to South Africa appeared. So I did and doors just opened. Hard work, much hard work and many hours later, trial and error with styles and techniques, freebies and poor rates and then….
I got phone calls, I got recommendations, I got emails and requests for work.
3 hard years in the middle of a world wide recession made property – vilas – houses – homes – hotels – offices etc hard to photograph, but the jobs came in and I was noticed.
Then less than 2 months ago, I had to opportunity to goto the races and horse photography became and option. This is not an overnight success story, this is the culumination of 5 years practice as horses are very hard to shoot well.
The results are here, and they are very good, very well received and its keeping me busy.
