most everywhere is distant from here.

This is most likely the third third of my life, although we cannot really know those things. The dreams I had have both come to fulfillment, and not. Publishing a novel is still out there somewhere, perhaps.

But I am finding my passions are more placid, ideas more introspective. Getting things done is not the hot ticket for me, except where necessary.

My main goal for the time ahead is to stretch it out and use it to explore and enjoy.

I’m looking forward to becoming more beautiful on the inside.

I’m also looking forward to traveling alone a bit this year.

And I’m looking forward to getting my teeth fixed.

settling into a permanent job and making that graduate degree worth it

becoming a wife, mother, aunt, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law

(not terribly hopeful that any of these things will be happening in 2011, but oh well).

as I will be off of work for 10 days. It can’t come soon enough!
