I have been a single father for almost 11 years now. I was forced to quit my job in the beginning to take care of my child and look for a lower paying job that gave me the time to handle my business. Less income means more problems, and soon came homelessness. I was hid between the eyes with the problems single dads face on an ongoing battle, we are not treated equaly. Even when we are allowed in the shelters we are denied the services that 2 parent, single mothers even singe women and men are offered. I don’t get it but it is what it is, and I don’t see it changing any time soon. I was working for a company doing third party work for a company running a scam on consumers when I question what was going on, I was told to deal with it are move on. I moved on, and now I am facing becoming homeless again. All is not lossed, While I was employed and not homeless I worked to put together a plan that would help me get a better oppertunity at being self providing. I brought toghter several Artist and had them creat orginal art that could be reproduced and sold for profit. This is what I would like to do to start a Homeless care group that helps single fathers that can’t get help from the establishment. I plan to start it today, in Oklahoma City, with any luck I will beable to catch myself before I fall then turn to help other single fathers in need. I need your help getting the word out, I will be putting up a website soon to help with this endevor, this is a service that is to long in the making.
