momof2sons is tired!
I still haven’t lost much weight. I’m still on BP meds, but I haven’t developed diabetes. I got denied for weight loss surgery by my husband’s insurance company. By the time I went through the appeals process and got approved, my husband lost his job and the insurance that went with it. So now I’m back to losing it the old fashioned way: sweating and starving. I am considering going to Dr. Weight Loss and taking a boat load of pills to lose some weight really quickly and then losing the rest slowly. My writing class teacher recommended Alli. I don’t eat a lot of fatty foods so it might help. And it would be cheaper. At BJ’s a 2 month supply is $60. Dr. Weight Loss costs about $200. So I don’t know. I’m thinking about Weight Watchers again, but I don’t have $40/month or the time to attend meetings. I’m sick of the commercials actually. Honestly, I’m tired of commercials with celebrities saying, “If I can do it, so can you!” Really? Sure, I could do it if I had nannies taking care of my kids so I could have 5 hours/day to train with my personal trainer, and eat specially cooked meals that my personal chef cooks for me. I want to be healthy again, that’s important. But I also want to be cute for my 20 yr reunion which is 2 yrs away.
