This is a soft pastel from last year. I’m fond of this one too. It is cheerful, agreed?
hmm, quite a lousy photograph of it. Odd, isn’t it..me taking a photo of her taking a photo. odd.

This one is really cool

In the little pic, it looks like this is a photo. Only when you blow it up to the full size is it obviously a pastel. I like its bright boldness, so unusual in pastels.

I had thought alot about doing a series of young people with their faces obscured like this. I have quite an extensive advertising background and this piece reflects that. It does make me happy somehow to look at it..but I half expect to see the word “FUJI” in the corner! lol!
