2. French Lentil Soup

I made French lentil soup yesterday and it is SO good! I jazzed up the recipe a bit with a soup tip from my gourmand friend Nils: I added worcestershire sauce and aged balsamic vinegar. YUM.

My kids are vegetarian and I was finding myself adding too much salt to vegetarian soups to set the flavor right. Balsamic and dijon have become my new best soup buddies, adding lots of oomph and much less salt now.
